F1 Manager 2022 gets an August release date in new gameplay trailer

Your team, your rules.

The new trailer gives us our first look at F1 Manager 2022, and it’s an impressive first look. Its visuals don’t look too different from the mainline Formula 1 games developed by Codemasters. F1 Manager 2022 may not quite be at that level, but for a management game, it looks great. Other leading management franchises like Football Manager don’t come close.

As for gameplay features, it looks as though F1 Manager 2022 offers plenty for motorsport enthusiasts. You’ll be able to tweak strategies on the go, manually tune various aspects of your team’s car, and conduct research and development to acquire better parts. Plus with this being an officially licensed game, it has real teams, real drivers, and a fully licensed track calendar.

If you don’t fancy waiting for the August 30 release date, there is a way to play F1 Manager 2022 early. Those that pre-order it will be able to start playing on August 25. Plus the pre-order currently has a 10% discount. This offer is available on both Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Final Frontier

F1 Manager 2022 is being made by Frontier Developments. You probably know the studio best for its work on Planet Coaster and Planet Zoo. Frontier Developments has vast experience in developing both management and tycoon games, as it’s also responsible for the extremely popular RollerCoaster Tycoon games from the 2000s. The developer may not have created a racing game before, but when it comes to management games, there may not be a more qualified studio. For now, all we can hope for is that F1 Manager 2022 lives up to the hype.
