Evolve evolves with new Hunters, Behemoth monster

Evolve has received a load of new content in the form of four new Hunters and a new monster, the Behemoth.

There’s one new Hunter for each class, and each of them seems to have their own abilities. For instance: Crow, the new Trapper, has a pet Batray that can be sent out to sniff out the monster. That’s new, right? I don’t know, I haven’t played Evolve. It sounds new.

Then there’s the new monster, the Behemoth. The Behemoth is a giant rock beast that can hurl lava bombs, create huge earth fissures, or generate giant rock walls to protect itself or separate the Hunters.

Here’s the good news: the Behemoth is apparently free to anyone who pre-purchased the game and received the Savage Goliath skin. Here’s the bad news: if you didn’t pre-purchase the game, the Behemoth is going to cost you £10.99. While the four Hunters are part of the Hunting Season Pass (or sold separately at £5.29 each), the Behemoth isn’t. You’re basically looking at paying £30 to get this new stuff, unfortunately.

Thankfully, you can apparently try this stuff out before shelling out for it, insofar as you can play against the new bits and bobs without having to pay. That’s still a pretty slim consolation to spending £30 on something you’ve already bought, though.

You can see a trailer for the new Evolve content below.
