Evolve is out next week but there are fixes being added as soon as it launches.
PC review copies won’t be dropping in until the game launches due to the fact the game is geared toward online play and there are fixes coming as soon as the game releases. The day one patch will weigh in at around 3GB which they say will make the “experience even better.”
Included on the update will be game and level loading optimisations which they say will range from ” load times to improving matchmaking and network bandwidth optimizations.”
There will also be what they are calling “general bug fixes” which are based on issues discovered in the recent testing phases by the community. Following the “Big Alpha” test,  Turtle Rock also decided to rework the Elite skins and Monsters based on player feedback and the implemented requests are being added in this patch and they have “outright replaced the assets that were already in the game.”
Fingers crossed all the optimisations do the trick when the game launches on 10 February.
We’ll have a review for you as soon as the code arrives here at IncGamers HQ. It’s also worth noting that all press outlets will be receiving code at launch so beware of early reviews if they appear.
