Several parts of Bethesda’s E3 event (tonight, 9pm Pacific) appear to be leaking early, including The Evil Within 2. This was widely tipped as a reveal at the Bethesda conference, and a leaked promotional ad looks to have confirmed it.
It’s not absolutely guaranteed, but multiple people (with different screencaps) on the Evil Within subreddit report seeing an ad for the sequel. The short text advert reads “From survival horror mastermind Shinji Mikami comes The Evil Within 2. Now available for pre-order. ‘The only way out is in.'”
No platforms given, but since the first one was on PC the sequel is likely to follow suit. This would also confirm Mikami’s involvement in the second game. Yesterday, Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus listings appeared (and then disappeared) from Germany’s Amazon. Expect that to show up tonight too.
