Europa Universalis IV: El Dorado launch trailer explains things very quickly

This article is over 9 years old and may contain outdated information

The El Dorado expansion for Europa Universalis IV is now out, and its launch trailer manages to explain most of its new mechanics rather succinctly.

That’s quite an achievement for a large expansion of a grand strategy game, but nonetheless, this 46-second video does a remarkably good job of talking about most of El Dorado‘s major new features. Central and South America! Religions! Seven Cities of Gold! Nation designer! Random globe setups! Other stuff!

Alright, so I managed it in less than 46 seconds. Maybe it’s not so impressive after all.

Europa Universalis IV: El Dorado is out now, and can be nabbed on Steam for £10.99. A Content Pack – adding music and unit models – is also available, for an additional £4.79.
