Ether Saga Online Launches Open Beta

Perfect World Entertainment has announced that the open beta for its free to play MMO, Ether Saga Online, has officially opened.

Any characters created in the open beta will be permanent and will be present after the game goes live. PWE has also released a trailer for the game.

“We are encouraged by the growing popularity of our free-to-play model and the greater level of customization it offers for both traditional MMORPG gamers and for those players that are new to the genre.” said Dr. Alan Chen, CEO of Perfect World Entertainment Inc.

Ether Saga Online is an animé style MMO based on the classic Chinese book, Journey to the West.
