The money has been rolling in for Frontier Developments today. This afternoon they required around 5OK GBP to reach their £1,250,000 Kickstarter goal for Elite Dangerous and this evening they’ve managed raise the cash.

With around 48 hours left on the campaign, it’s time to keep an eye on the stretch goals, the first being to release a Mac version of the game if they hit 1.4m. Today they also announced a new stretch goal of 1.5m for another ten playable ships to be added to the game.

It’s good news for fans of the classic Elite franchise, and now Frontier Developments can relax a little and start pushing with the game’s development.
