Elden Ring Prayerbook Incantation Spells Guide

Elden Ring: Where to find Prayerbooks for Incantation spells

You gotta have faith.

Prayerbooks are important key items in Elden Ring, especially if you’re a spellcaster focused on Faith. If given to certain vendors, you’ll be able to purchase new magic abilities that can be used in battle. Here’s our Elden Ring guide to help you find Prayerbooks for Incantation spells.

Elden Ring guide – Where to find Prayerbooks for Incantation spells

Although it’s possible to acquire Incantation spells in Elden Ring through other means (i.e., defeating bosses, opening chests, or killing Dung Beetles), a select few can only be obtained if you have Prayerbooks. Likewise, only two vendors will accept them. One is Scribe Corhyn in Roundtable Hold (as you can see in the image above). However, a bit later in the campaign, Corhyn will go on a journey to Altus Mountains.

If that happens and you don’t want to search for him, you can head to the Church of Vows instead. The giant turtle, Miriel, will be happy to oblige. In any case, I’ll list the Prayerbooks that I’ve found so far in Elden Ring, as well as the Incantation spells that become available.

Assassin’s Prayerbook in Elden Ring

  • Location: Roundtable Hold – You’ll need to use two Stonesword Keys on the Imp Statues to part the mist.
  • Spells: Darkness and Assassin’s Approach.

Two Fingers’ Prayerbook in Elden Ring

  • Location: Leyndell Royal City – Fortified Manor, First Floor – You’ll find this in the dining hall area, which has a similar layout to Roundtable Hold. Also, make sure you do this prior to reaching one of the game’s “soft” points of no return. Basically, don’t clear Crumbling Farum Azula yet (I’ll get to this in a while).
  • Spells: Lord’s Heal and Lord’s Aid.

Golden Order Principia in Elden Ring

  • Location: Leyndell Royal Capital – Reach the chamber where you’ll fight Godfrey, First Elden Lord. After beating him, climb up the branch and go out the yard. Then, look back at the building to see an opening. Head inside and use the other branches to claim this item.
  • Spells: Radagon’s Rings of Light and Law of Regression.

Note: Law of Regression is required for the Age of Order secret ending.

Ancient Dragon Prayerbook in Elden Ring

  • Location: Crumbling Farum Azula – This location is accessed well past Leyndell Royal Capital and the Mountaintops of the Giants. Once you get here, continue along the path until you tag the Crumbling Beast Grave Depths Site of Grace. Past this point is the item at the center of the audience hall. Unfortunately, I don’t have a screenshot since I was too busy running away from mobs. However, you can watch the video below from YouTuber Dunkin.
  • Spells: Ancient Dragons’ Lightning Spear and Ancient Dragons’ Lightning Strike.
