Elden Ring guide – Flask of Wondrous Physick and Crystal Tears locations

The Flask of Wondrous Physick in Elden Ring can be found in the Third Church of Marika. This location is in Mistwood, a small area along the borders of Limgrave and Caelid. You can pick up an additional Sacred Tear for your regular flasks, and it’s where Melina pays you a visit as well.

With the Flask of Wondrous Physick in your possession, you’ll notice another command once you interact with a Site of Grace. This lets you make different combinations of Tears (at least two) so that you can gain both effects. Just remember that the Flask of Wondrous Physick only has a single use, and you have to rest in a Site of Grace to replenish it.

The Flask of Wondrous Physick can be extremely helpful during Elden Ring’s challenging boss fights. Depending on what tears you insert into the flask, you can significantly increase your chances of surviving. There are a few crystal tear combinations for the Wondrous Physick that can really bring your character’s build to the next level.

Here are the best crystal tear combinations for the Flask of Wondrous Physick in Elden Ring:

Crimson Crystal Tear + Opaline Bubbletear

The Crimson Crystal Tear combined with the Opaline Bubbletear can be a lifesaver when your HP is about to run out. Not only will the Crimson Crystal Tear replenish half your HP, but the Opaline Bubbletear will significantly negate damage from a devastating blow from a boss or enemy. In other words, this combination can save you from seeing those infamous “you died” words come across your screen.

Magic-Shrouding Cracked Tear + Cerulean Hidden Tear

Combining the Magic-Shrouding Cracked Tear with the Cerulean Hidden Tear in the Wondrous Physick is incredibly smart for magic-based builds. These two tears will increase your magic’s overall damage output, while also removing FP consumption. Take a chug of these two tears right before using Comet Azur, and I promise you will obliterate any boss you’re up against.

Opaline Hardtear + Strength-knot Crystal Tear

The perfect combination for strength builds, the Opaline Hardtear and the Strength-knot Crystal tear will turn you into an absolute monster. The former temporarily boosts all damage negation, while the latter temporarily boosts strength. This combination allows you to focus more on dealing damage to your enemies and less on dodging and healing.

Those are our picks for the best crystal tear combinations for the Flask of Wondrous Physick in Elden Ring. Remember, the number of combinations is endless considering there are so many crystal tears to be found in the game.
