Smoldering Ashes in Diablo 4 helps you level up the game’s Battle Pass. Earning the ashes can be time-consuming since the requirements can vary in difficulty. However, there are ways to farm the Smoldering Ashes for the battle pass in Diablo 4. So follow along to earn the ashes efficiently.
Diablo 4: Efficient ways to farm Smoldering Ashes for your Battle Pass in Season 3
Smoldering Ashes can only be earned one way, and you need to be level 40 with the Battle Pass at tier eight to start getting the ashes. If you’re worried about paying up real money, don’t worry the ashes are a part of the free Battle Pass.Â
Farming for Smoldering Ashes can be done in a couple of ways, one is free and the other is paid. Let’s break down each way.
Leveling up the Battle Pass for free
The free method and probably the most used, is simply playing the game. Meaning, you can slay the demons that roam Sanctuary, or do the favors in each chapter. I think doing the favors is your best bet because you get to level up the Battle Pass faster with them. But as you go up in the chapters, the harder they become. On the other hand, while they do get more difficult, they give out more XP that goes towards the Battle Pass. Combining killing the monsters and the favors in every chapter, you can quickly earn Smouldering Ashes.
Buy Platinum
The other way is if you pay using real-life money. You can buy the premium currency that helps you skip tiers all while collecting all the rewards of the skipped tiers. However, even if you skip tiers, you may not get the Smouldering Ashes since certain tiers require you to be a certain level. For example, to earn the ashes the first time, you must be level 40, as mentioned before. The second time, you have to be level 53. I wouldn’t recommend this way unless you’re already level 100. That way you can earn all the Smouldering Ashes because you’ve met the criteria that I’ve mentioned above.
