In something that, amazingly, is not E3-related, digital download site Good Old Games has announced that it will be adding “more than 25” older EA titles to its catalogue.
Right now, this means you can buy Wing Commander: Privateer, Dungeon Keeper and a bundle of Ultima Underworld 1 & 2. On the way are Crusader: No remorse, Sid Meier’s Alpha Centauri and Magic Carpet. After those six, GoG says it will be “taking a break” from the updates until after the summer – but promises many more EA titles are on the way.
Due to rights issues, these unfortunately will not include Syndicate or System Shock. At least, not yet.
As with all other GoG releases, these games should be totally DRM-free and will work on modern operating systems where indicated.
