The new studios will be focusing on the development of Star Wars titles and new talent will be recruited. Speaking to the The Wall-Street Journal, DICE’s Karl-Magnus Troedsson commented:

“There is an extreme talent pool over there that we want a part of. It’s no secret that our main competitor is there.”

Around sixty staff will be recruited by the end of this year and talent has also been brought in from the Medal of Honor series. With Infinity Ward and Treyarch also based on the west coast, DICE will without a doubt be looking to poach talent from their ranks.
