Revelling in the success of FIFA 10, EA Sports has declared it the “undisputed” king of football games. Not only has EA shifted more than a million copies in the UK since its release – topping the chart for a third successive week- the game has also been critically lauded.“The studio has truly moved the FIFA experience forward and delivered the most complete football product ever released,” EA’s Trevor Uzice told MCV.“The commitment to quality stands out: We are the undisputed No.1-rated football title on console with Metacritic scores of 91 per cent on both PS3 and 360. In addition, we’ve seen a staggering 33 million online games played across Europe since launch, which is extremely encouraging. “He also stressed that EA Sports is not done with FIFA 10 just yet.“However, the launch to date is just the beginning and we look forward to further engaging with our FIFA players and community with ongoing content throughout the football season,” he added. Here at IncGamers, we can’t really argue with EA – once again FIFA is the best football game on the market and despite improvements this year, PES 2010 still lags behind.
