It’s January, so we may as well start thinking about E3 already; EA certainly are, and have announced dates for their separate ‘EA Play’ event. That’ll be taking place between 10 June and 12 June, with relevant portions streamed live through EA.com. E3 itself runs 13 June to 15 June this year.
EA Play is being held in the Los Angeles Hollywood Palladium, and will hopefully manage to keep the FIFA Ultimate Team presentation under the seven hour mark this time. The event site has a slot for signing up to receive emails about the show (including how to attend, one would assume).
Those who do show up this year are promised “hands-on gameplay, live entertainment and much more”. You may also get a contact high if Snoop Dogg shows up again.
It’s too early to predict the actual game line-up, but FIFA 18 is nailed on, and ‘lots of Star Wars games’ feels a pretty safe bet too. Mass Effect: Andromeda should already have been out for a couple of months by that point – so there might be some DLC to hype.
