EA closing down Visceral Studios Melbourne

This article is over 13 years old and may contain outdated information

Studio had worked on Dead Space, Dante’s Inferno and The Godfather.
In a brief statement, EA has confirmed that it will be closing the offices of Australian-based developer Visceral Games.
“With no active project in that location, we’ve decided to close the Visceral Melbourne office,” reads the statement.
“They are talented individuals and may find other roles elsewhere in EA, if they choose. EA continues to maintain its mobile studios in Melbourne which are both thriving and hiring.”
The closure affects only the Melbourne office, the ‘main’ Visceral office in Montreal will remain running as usual.
We wish luck to all those affected by the decision.
