Dying Light 2 Electrical Stations guide
Let’s discuss how to capture Electrical Stations in Dying Light 2. As mentioned, your first encounter with this mechanic is while doing the A Place To Call Home mission.
Early on in A Place To Call Home, you’ll gain access to fast travel via Metro Stations and the Paraglider tool. Power in the district would suddenly go out, and Lawan asks you to check out the Downtown Electrical Station. This also serves as a tutorial for this mechanic.
After defeating the Renegades to help out the Peacekeepers, look for metal ledges that lead to the interior of the building. You’ll then receive an objective saying that you have to connect the three cables. The green terminals have cables with power, and these need to be connected to red terminals with the matching number.
- Cable #1 is on the bottommost floor. The red terminal is next to it just behind the machinery.
- Cable #2 is on the third floor. You’ll want to open a locked gate to reach the red terminal.
- Cable #3 is down the elevator shaft where the #3 red terminal is. Jump down, grab it, then go back up to connect it to the terminal.
Note: Cables have a specific length, which is why you need to make sure that you’re taking the shortest path to a red terminal. If you can’t reach it, you can hold the “F” key to detach the cable. Then, go back to the green terminal and grab it again for another try.
After all three terminals have been powered up, ride the elevator to the control room. Before you press the switch, make sure you grab all the loot, including the Inhibitor Container (activating the switch causes all the loot to disappear).
When you’re ready, press that button to bring power to the Downtown Electrical Station in Dying Light 2. You can then assign it to either the Survivors or Peacekeepers for faction rewards.
Now, this puzzle is relatively simple, right? However, you’ll find trickier ones later on. You can check out our remaining guides for the facilities in Garrison (Broadcast mission), Houndfield (free-roam), and Saint Paul (free-roam).
Dying Light 2 is available via Steam. For more information, check out our guides and features hub.
