The Wizardess might be my favorite character in The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos. This is because of her magic spells that can completely obliterate hordes of enemies. Here’s our Wizardess skills guide to help you out.

The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: Wizardess skills guide
Here are some of the active and passive skills I selected for the Wizardess during The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk‘s campaign. Choose wisely due to the limited number of skill points and the level 10 cap.
Active skills:
Tier | Skill | Effect | Additional Notes |
I | Wazaa’s Whirlwind | AoE arcane damage | This one’s going to last you until the end of the game since it’s an AoE spell. Pick the upgrade that gives this a chance to stun. |
I | Namzar’s Slap | Pushes the target back two tiles | This is an okay-ish spell, but rarely used unless teammates are surrounding a target (for attacks of opportunity or overwatch triggers). |
I | Cure Minor Wounds | Ranged healing spell | What do you know? The Wizardess has something for both damage and healing purposes. |
II | Summoning of the Killer Bunny | Refreshes your HP and MP depending on the damage it deals. | You’re damaging someone and healing yourself (and getting some MP back). What’s not to love? |
III | Major Fireball | Burns enemies and destroys objects | Get the upgrade which turns this into an AoE spell. |
IV | Hectic Hailstorm | Can freeze your foes | Pick the upgrade that doubles its AoE coverage and you have a chance of freezing half a dozen enemies. |
Passive skills:
Tier | Skill | Effect | Additional Notes |
I | Astral Energy Pool | +25/50 astral energy/MP | The other passive (regen) might be useful, though the Killer Bunny spell will handle your MP recovery later. |
II | Theory of Relativity | +2 INT when adjacent to Ogre; Tier II upgrade gives +5 CRG | The INT bonus isn’t much, but the tier II upgrade is a game-changer due to the initiative bonus. If the Wizard starts next to the Ogre, expect her to have her turn earlier than the rest. |
II | Astral Reach | +2 spell range | The alternative is +10% spell damage, but I found the extra range preferable. |
III | Von Schrapwitz’ Arcana | +50% chance to burn targets with the standard ranged attacks | The alternative is +20% chance to freeze targets. I found the burn status effect more useful due to the high proc chance. |
IV | Bookworm | +2/4 INT | It’s an increase to your INT and spell damage. |
