The Ogre is a beefy behemoth in The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos. Sure, he might look like a lumbering oaf, but he can become an absolute beast of a fighter too. Here’s our Ogre skills guide to help you out.

The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: Ogre skills guide
Here are some of the active and passive skills I selected for the Ogre during The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk‘s campaign. Choose wisely due to the limited number of skill points and the level 10 cap.
Active skills:
Tier | Skill | Effect | Additional Notes |
I | Kadoula Opog | Push the enemy 2 tiles using your belly | Like the other push-type skills, this is useful if you need to trigger a teammate’s overwatch or attack of opportunity. Make sure to pick the “knocked over” upgrade. |
I | Burps | A low damage attack that hits three tiles in front of the Ogre; can stun targets | Choose the upgrade that allows the skill to also hit the Ogre’s sides. |
II | Gnolo | Two slaps that deal 60% damage each | The upgrade you want is the one that lets both slaps ignore protection/armor. |
III | Dwarf Throw | Uh, it throws the Dwarf as long as he’s adjacent to you; does AoE damage once the Dwarf lands. | Get the upgrade that increases the damage. Use this skill in conjunction with the Dwarf’s capabilities. |
IV | Savage Tremors | Hits up to three targets in a straight line in front of the Ogre | One of the upgrades gives the quake a T-shaped or mallet-shaped coverage. |
Passive skills:
Tier | Skill | Effect | Additional Notes |
I | Ogre Breach | Lets you destroy reinforced doors | Take the next upgrade that lets you destroy stone-reinforced doors too. You’re bound to get awesome loot from these rooms. |
I | Brother in Arms | +5 impact/damage when adjacent to the Barbarian | Try to always have the Barbarian beside the Ogre to retain this bonus. |
II | Ogre Skin | +2/4 protection | It helps make the Ogre tankier. |
II | Advanced Murderhoboing | Allows you to wield two-handed hammers | By default, the Ogre can only attack with his fists. This lets you equip better weapons. |
II | Annual Bath | +1/2 physical resistance per level (retroactive) | That’s a total of +20 physical resistance once you reach the level cap. |
III | Akala Nom Nom | +20/40 HP per kill | It’s likely that the Ogre will be killing several mobs during a fight, so this keeps him in tip-top condition. |
IV | Ogre Strength | +3/6 STR | More ways for you to boost your DPS. |
