The Dwarf is rude, crass, and downright mean. But, he’s also a sturdy tank who can help you progress further in The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos. Here’s our Dwarf skills guide to help you out.

The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: Dwarf skills guide

Here are some of the active and passive skills I selected for the Dwarf during The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk‘s campaign. Choose wisely due to the limited number of skill points and the level 10 cap.

Active skills:

Tier Skill Effect Additional Notes
I Yakak Charge Deals damage and knocks over the target By default, this only hits one opponent. Later, once you unlock tier V, you can pick the upgrade that lets you hit three tiles in front of the Dwarf.
I Gurdil’s Whirling Wallop A spin attack that hits every tile around the Dwarf If used in conjunction with the Ogre’s Dwarf Throw skill – and assuming the Dwarf takes his turn after the Ogre does – you can quickly follow-up with your whirlwind to annihilate multiple hostiles.
II Thunderthigh Charge Charges four tiles in a straight line or diagonally This skill helps the Dwarf become more mobile too. Choose the upgrade that increases the distance to six tiles.
III Get Tae F@$*! A shield bash that pushes your target back Use this to help trigger a teammate’s overwatch or attack of opportunity; pick the stun upgrade.
IV Hold Me Back Deals 200% damage to one target; must have the support of two allies The upgrade boosts the damage to 350%, but you need three allies supporting you. It can take a while to set up.

Passive skills:

Tier Skill Effect Additional Notes
I Bros Of A Leather +3 protection when next to the Barbarian If the Ogre throws the Dwarf, and the Barbarian does Ferocious Pounce, then you can see these boons even after both have moved further afield.
I Iron Beard +3% physical and magical resistance The upgrades will either boost physical resistance or magical resistance even more.
II Stone Stance +10 parry and cannot be knocked over when in Defensive Stance This passive skill is fun to have since it makes you tankier.
III Dwarven Grit +20/40/60 max stamina If you want to play more aggressively and use more skills often, then this passive is a good pick.
III Shield Expert +3/5/8 parry Alternatively, this one’s for defensive-oriented players.
IV Dwarven Strength +3/5 STR Gotta deal more damage, of course.
