Dragon Ball Xenoverse adds Gogeta SS4, Omega Shenron to cast

This article is over 9 years old and may contain outdated information

Nobody, I would hope, is going to accuse Dragon Ball Xenoverse of having a stunted cast list. As far as I can make out, today’s news of Gogeta SS4 and Omega Shenron’s inclusion in the game takes the roster up to somewhere around the 3 million mark.

At least that’s what it feels like.

Here are some images of Gogeta SS4 and Omega Shenron going toe-to-toe:

Bandai Namco still have a bunch of characters left over to use as DLC, though. As well as informing the world about Gogeta and Shenron, this particular Dragon Ball Xenoverse news release also details a (oh no!) Season Pass. Here’s what that’s going to include. Apparently the first ‘chunk’ of it will be available in March:

  • DLC Pack 1 (Available in March 2015):
    • 3 playable characters: GT Goku, Pan & GT Trunks
    • 4 Time Patrol quests
    • 12 Quests
    • 15 Special Moves for the players’ avatars
    • 5 costumes
  • DLC Pack 2
    • Exclusive Playable Characters, Quests, Special moves and costumes
  • DLC Pack 3: Turtle Hermit set, Jaco the Space Patroller and highly exclusive content.

I like the summaries for those last two DLC packs, which basically amount to “um … we don’t quite know yet, but it’ll be great, trust us.” Anyway, if you feel the need for even more characters, or can’t live without Grand Tour Goku, then I guess the Season Pass is worth keeping in mind. It’ll be $25.00 USD for the lot.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse will be released on PC (through Steam) on 27 February. Now, enjoy a whole more images from this bizarre-looking alt reality Dragon Ball game:
