Dragon Age: Origins Dwarven City Revealed

This article is over 15 years old and may contain outdated information

BioWare has released new screenshots and concept art for Dragon Age: Origins, revealing the Dwarven city of Orzammar. From the shots, in all their subterranean glory, we’d wager that Orzammar is underground and that it’s one of the possible starting locations of BioWare’s forthcoming RPG.You see, depending on your intitial choice of character – Human Noble, Mage, City Elf, Dalish Elf, Dwarf Noble, or Dwarf Commoner – you’ll play through an entirely different prologue, and we suspect this might be showing off the city in which the dwarven origin stories take place. We got a look at Dragon Age: Origins back at E3 and it’s fair to say that I wasn’t entirely impressed. I hope to be proven wrong, so fortunately some of the more recent screens and videos seem in line with what I’m hoping for. If you’ve higher hopes than me, then you might be interested in the recently revealed collector’s edition of the title.Anyway, you can check out the preview here, and take a look at the new screenshots and concept art below. The game itself is due out for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 on 23 October on these fair shores.
