BioWare has dated the PlayStation 3 version of Dragon Age: Origins. We’ve known for a good while that the PlayStation 3 version would be coming a bit later than the launches of the Xbox 360 and PC versions (3 November in America, 6 November in Europe) but we know now exactly how long PlayStation 3 owners will have to wait.EA’s David Silverman reportedly confirmed to Joystiq, at a recent EA event in New York, that the PlayStation 3 version will launch on 17 November. This is certainly in line with what we’ve heard before, as BioWare has been saying for awhile that the PS3 version would be “later in November.”Apparently, BioWare “wanted more time to get [the] PS3 [version] to ‘BioWare standards.'”This follows from yesterday’s report that we’re going to see “exciting news about DA:O on PS3,” and the date seems a likely thing. We expect we’ll hear it through official channels later on, but if it’s anything else, we’ll let you know.
