It seems that the hotly anticipated Dragon Age: Inquisition will feature Kinect voice commands similar to those seen in Mass Effect 3.

Dragon Age Creative Director Mike Laidlaw said: “We’re expecting that Xbox 360 and Xbox One editions will ship with a Kinect-enabled voice command feature, just like Mass Effect 3 did.”

Mass Effect 3 made good use of the Kinect voice command feature using it to further conversations or to give commands during battle. If Inquisition follows suite then it could breath more life into the Kinect feature that many pass off as a fad.

There also seems to be plans for some kind of SmartGlass feature according to Producer Cameron Lee. “It needs to make sense, of course, but we want Inquisition to be an experience you can take with you everywhere – to work, the commute home, the living room, bed.”
