A kindly GameStop employee or customer has leaked this semi-hidden page on the Dragon Age II website, revealing that a public demo will be available from 23 February.
Ostensibly, the page is for GameStop users to imput a code to get an early look at Dragon Age 2 via a demo. It also shows some pre-order nonsense exclusive to that retailer.
Most interesting, though, is the little warning at the bottom which states: “Any form of distribution, recording, posting of any elements of the Dragon Age 2 demo and any of its files is strictly prohibited until February 23, 2011 when the demo is made available to all consumers.”
It therefore looks like this is the date most of us will be able to test out the RPG title, and see if we really can hot rod our spartan samurai elves or whatever the marketing jargon said.
