Santa Valve has dished out Winter Treasure 2 to Dota 2 players, in a 1.1GB update.

I’m still waiting on the thing to download so I can’t take too much of a look at what’s in it, but from the looks of things it’s the “really annoying heroes” treasure. Opening one up has a chance to net you a set for Silencer, Lifestealer, Lina, Death Prophet, Broodmother, Batrider, Keeper of the Light, Underlord, plus a chance for a very rare Sniper set or an extremely rare Disruptor set. So yeah: Broodmother, KotL, Sniper, Silencer? It’s the “really annoying heroes” treasure. At least my beloved Lina gets something.

That’s not quite all. The patch also adds in a “Request Suggestion” button in the shop, letting you ask your teammates what you should buy (and maybe getting responses that aren’t CYKA BLYAT FUK NOOB”). In addition to that, everyone’s favourite creepy old man – Keeper of the Light – now has unified slots for his mount and its armour, which “should allow for higher quality single-asset mounts”. As such, older Keeper of the Light sets that had both mounts and armour will have these combined into a single item.

Assuming this works the way I think it does, you should be able to buy a Winter Treasure 2 in the in-game store, or you can earn some by levelling up the Winter Battle Pass.

The patch is a whopping 1.1GB, and is out now. You can read the patch notes here, or take a look at the Dota 2 blog for some slightly more casual details.
