Domination mode added to SMITE

Hi-Rez are releasing a new game mode for SMITE called Domination which will also come with a new map set in Egypt (see above). The Domination mode is a capture and hold game for 5v5 matches and each team must hold 2 of the 3 points to reduce the points of the enemy team.

The new patch also adds more functionality when it comes to banning. The top ranked player in each team can ban opponents from selecting a specific and a free god rotation. Hi-Rez are also going to spice things by adding five additional free gods into a rotation which will allow players to check out more of the ever-expanding list of gods.

Finally, the update comes with an updated UI just for good measure.
