Wizard With A Gun Key Art Thumb

Does Wizard With a Gun have local co-op?

Little bit of couch co-op?

Galvanic Games has come out with a very nice-looking and great-sounding game that focuses heavily on resource collecting and base building. You have to work against a timer to push back the inevitable end of days slowly. Each time you rewind, it is time to start again, working against the clock to slowly improve your arsenal and capabilities. This is okay to do alone, but everything is better with friends. I found myself wanting some company while playing and asking myself, does Wizard With a Gun have a local co-op so I can enjoy this two-player?

Galvanic Games

Unbelievably, Wizard With a Gun has no ability to be played local co-op. However, it can be played online. I think missing out on local co-op is a real mistake by the developers. The game is simple and undemanding enough to run local co-op on even a basic PC.

The control scheme for Wizard With a Gun would make co-op play on a PC very simple. One using a mouse and keyboard and another on a controller. Being able to work together while in the same room would really add an element of sociability and teamwork that the game is lacking.

Will there ever be a local co-op?

There are no plans for Wizard With a Gun to have an option for local co-op. It will only be available to play online with friends. This means that if you want to play with friends, each of you will have to own the game. It isn’t the most expensive game in the world, but being able to sit on a couch with family and friends for a few waves of Chaos would be a nice thing to experience.

The death of couch co-op is something that will always be a problem for me. Some of my best memories are playing beside friends through my favorite games.
