If you’re enjoying the Modern Warfare 3 beta on any platform, you may be asking yourself what carries over from the MW3 beta to the full release. After all, you don’t want all your progress to go to waste. Here is the answer to what carries over from the MW3 beta to the full release on November 10, 2023.
MW3 beta: What carries over?
You’ll be surprised to know that nothing from the MW3 beta carries over to the full release. When MW3 launches globally on November 10, 2023, all your progress during the MW3 beta will be wiped.

Activision does a full wipe so that when everybody gets their hands on MW3 on launch day, everyone is on a level playing field. Yes, the players who enjoyed MW3 in beta will have more knowledge of how the game works, what loadouts are best, and the best sight lines on the maps, but that’s it.
I’m not a fan of progress getting wiped in games unless it’s for a good reason, and this feels like a good reason. It wouldn’t be fair for MW3 beta players to already have access to the Juggernaut killstreak and the best weapons in the game since they’re level 40. The launch date for MW3 is the perfect time for all players to be on the same level and grind up together.
If you’re still planning on playing the MW3 beta, I recommend playing it for fun instead of grinding to unlock everything. If you’re playing for fun, you’ll naturally unlock a lot of good stuff but it won’t be your primary focus. That way, when the reset does happen on MW3 launch day, you’re not disappointed about losing anything.
Of course, I won’t hold you back if you want to grind to the highest level. During the first week of beta, the level cap is 20. The second MW3 beta week has a level cap of 40. When MW3 fully releases, the level cap will be 65 but everyone will start at level one.
