Modern Warfare 3 is yet another revamp of the franchise’s many IPs, bringing back all the classics from the previous edition. However, with the re-release of Modern Warfare 3, we need to know if this time around it will come with cross play and cross progression.
Does Modern Warfare have cross play?
Fans will be very pleased to know that Modern Warfare 3 will come with cross play. No matter what platform you or your friends are playing on, you will all be able to get involved with the fun. This includes all the multiplayer aspects of the game.
However, this always raises a few issues for some players. There is an argument that PC players have an unfair advantage while using a mouse and keyboard. The added precision given by a completely free hand to control aiming gives a certain advantage when blowing heads off.
For anyone who isn’t a big fan of cross play in Modern Warfare 3, there is always the option to turn it off in the network settings.
Does Modern Warfare have cross progression?
Modern Warfare 3 does come with cross progress. No matter what platform you are playing on, your progression will carry across to the next. Your progress, rather than being saved locally, is saved on the cloud. Now, with the power of modern technology, you can access all your progress in Modern Warfare 3.
Now, if you want to pick up where you left off on PC, you can head to a friend’s house and enjoy the same game you put down. Cross progression makes enjoying your game wherever you go much more simple.
If you are traveling with a laptop, you can enjoy the progression you made on your console back home. The cross play and cross progression in Modern Warfare 3 are very helpful for someone like me who travels a lot and still needs to be able to game.
