The Fortnite/Lego collab is going to change how we play the battle royale. Apart from having a new survival-based mode and Lego-based skins, it also looks like the world will change as you move around.
Are worlds randomly generated in Lego Fortnite?
When you create a world — or join one in Lego Fortnite’s universe — you will be placed in a randomly generated world. This is akin to how Minecraft plays as every time the player enters the level, it’s never the same as it was before. Since the Lego mode is all about building, randomly created worlds make things far more interesting.Â

Having the level randomly created each time is a good move. Because every match you go into, you’ll need to do different tactics. With building and creating, the random worlds make you more engaged. This way, it can feel like you’re improving the meta of the game overall.Â
An ever-changing battlefield
Since the world will be different wherever you move to, you can be as creative as you want. This is welcoming news because your creativity won’t be stifled. In other words, just like games such as Minecraft, you can almost construct anything you want.Â
Hopefully, the procedurally generated worlds have few limits. This sort of play style works well in Fortnite. Since the battle royale is already quite over the top, the Lego collaboration may emphasize the ridiculous nature of the game.Â
Fortnite is free to play via Epic, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, and Mobile.
