Does Disney Dreamlight Valley have crossplay?

Everything is better with friends.

The Disney-themed sim game has been gaining a loyal following as it has given Disney fans the chance to live in a world with their favorite Disney icons. But the game can feel lonesome without friends, and it might be nice to know if all platforms can play with each other. If you want to know if Disney Dream Light Valley is crossplay, find out below.

Disney Dreamlight Valley: Does it have crossplay?

To rip the bandage off quickly, Disney Dreamlight Valley at the moment doesn’t have crossplay. So you’ll be playing the entire game with yourself sadly. This also falls on the fact that there’s no multiplayer at the time of writing this guide as well. However, don’t write that off completely. According the Gameloft’s FAQ page, multiplayer could be something that might come down the line after the game leaves early access.

If multiplayer does hit the game, and with gaming becoming more platform-agnostic, you could expect crossplay to come later down the line. Who knows, you could be making Jam with your friends next year — that’s speculation, of course, so take it with a grain of salt.

What about cross-save?

While crossplay isn’t present for the time being, cross-progression thankfully is. Unlike some games that have partial cross-save, meaning PlayStation owners, for example, can only save from the PS4 to PS5, Disney Dreamlight Valley has full cross-progression. So you can take the game with you from one platform to another without restrictions.

To enable cross-save, do the following:

  • On whichever platform you’re using, start the game.
  • From the main menu, simply hit the Cloud Save option and you should be prompted to enter your Gameloft account.
  • If you don’t have one yet, you can’t cross-save. So make sure you have one ready to go.
  • Now on the new platform, start the game, and sign into your Gameloft account. Once you do, all your progress will be there.
