Star Wars: Attack Squadron was a browser based space combat game, announced December 17 of last year and developed by Area 52 Games. The game was using a browser capable version of Unity, allowed for 16 player multiplayer, and offered customizable ships and different maps.

This is the message on the official game page today:

We want to thank all of the fans who participated in the closed beta of Star Wars: Attack Squadrons.
After much consideration, we have decided to cease development so that we can focus on other
Star Wars game experiences. We truly appreciate the time you spent engaging in the beta.
