Fifa 13 is top of the UK chart for a third week in a row, with Bethesda’s Dishonored sitting in the runner up spot.

Dishonored’s strong performance means it is now the best selling new IP launch of the year, taking over from Square Enix’s Sleeping Dogs.

Alongside Dishonored are three other new entries into the top ten. Pokemon Black Version 2 is at number three, Pokemon White Version 2 is number five and XCOM: Enemy Unknown is number seven.

If you’re wondering where Fable: The Journey is… it didn’t make the top ten, a disappointing opening week sees the Kinect title down in 37. It’s the worst performance of any Fable game released in boxed form.

UK all-format top ten (week ending 13 October, 2012):

  1. Fifa 13 (EA)
  2. Dishonored (Bethesda)
  3. Pokemon Black Version 2 (Nintendo)
  4. Resident Evil 6 (Capcom)
  5. Pokemon White Version  2 (Nintendo)
  6. Just Dance 4 (Ubisoft)

  10. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (Bethesda)
