With Season 2 of Diablo 4 soon coming to a close, we’re all looking ahead to what we can expect with Season 3, and of course, find out its release date.
If you have these pressing questions, we can answer them below. We now know a lot more about what Season 3 will offer, so here’s what you should know.
When is Diablo 4 Season 3 coming out?
Diablo 4 Season 2 is ending on January 23, and Season 3 (Season of the Construct) is confirmed to begin on January 23. Each new Season begins the same day the old Season ends. On January 16, Blizzard announced the name of the Season, alongside the release date.
Basing this off of the past Seasons, you can also expect Season of the Construct to go live at 10 am EST/1 pm EST, depending on your US time zone. But if you remember back in Season 2, it had some issues with its launch and was delayed by a few hours for its launch. If everything goes smoothly for Season 3, you should be able to create your Seasonal Realm at the Season reset time.
What do we know so far about Diablo 4 Season of the Construct?
Although we’re confident about the release date for Diablo 4 Season 3, what can we expect from it? With only one week until Season of the Construct, we know that this new threat to Sanctuary is something more than a living being. Instead, we’ll be facing off against robotic Constructs and traps under the deserts of Kehjistan.
From the recent blog post detailing this new Season, we know that these malicious Constructs are controlled by the whims of the demon Malphas. You won’t be alone though, as you’ll have your new Seneschal Companion, a seasonal robot. We also know of a new Dungeon type called Vaults, as well as Weekly Leaderboards in The Gauntlet.
With each season typically comes new quality-of-life changes, items, and Helltide events, so look forward to those. The seasonal storyline seems to be centered around Kehjistan, or in this case beneath it. You’ll uncover a new town center under these deserts named Gatehall which will be your home base during this Season.
It seems like Season of the Construct is adding a ton of new features that’ll make you want to jump right back into the thick of Diablo 4. If you’re done with the campaign, read our list of the 13 best things to do in Diablo 4’s post-game.
