Diablo 4 is probably the biggest game in the series, and traversing the world of Sanctuary may take some time due to the size of the map. Mounts, which is one of the newest features in the game should make exploration easier. They can be helpful in many ways, so it could be worthwhile acquiring one when you can. This guide can help you get mounts in Diablo 4.
How to get mounts in Diablo 4
To start, when you reach a stable, it will tell you the prerequisites you need to do in order to obtain your first mount. The first requirement is doing the Donans’ Favour quest in Act 2. After finishing the quest, you’ll be halfway done. For the next part, you’ll need to be at least level 36 in order to fully unlock the mounts.
If you’re looking to ride a mount in the upcoming Open Beta of Diablo 4, you won’t be able to do this. The beta has a cap of level 25 and is limited to Act One. This would make them blocked off in the Beta. While you can interact with the Stablemasters, you won’t be able to do much more.
Are mounts customizable?
Just like your character, your mounts will also be customizable in Diablo 4. While you can get cosmetic upgrades, they go deeper than just focusing on the look of them. If you complete puzzles, World Bosses, and other in-game events, you can unlock equipment that can make your mounts stats better. You can get better pieces of armor to make it tougher, so they can be just as important as your character in the game.
Different types of mounts will be available, like the Temptation Mount, which you get if you pre-ordered either the Legendary or Deluxe edition of the game. So it seems you can have a catalog of mounts at once for the full game.
