Where to find Diablo 4 Underroot Dungeon

The Underroot Dungeon is found on the west side of Scosglen in an area called Tur Dulra. This small region sits northwest of Deep Forest, which you’ll enter near the beginning of the Act 2 campaign quests.

Once you finish Underroot, you’ll unlock Aspect of the Expectant. This Aspect is a really solid one — it allows you to gain a 5-10% increase to your next Core Skill damage, up to 30%, after hitting an enemy with a Basic Skill. Basic Skills and Core Skills are the bread and butter of every class and build (they are the first and second branch of every skill tree) so Aspect of the Expectant is a great one to get, especially for the best Blood Necromancer build.

How to unlock Underroot Dungeon in Diablo 4

When you arrive at Tur Dulra, if you try to access Underroot, you’ll notice you can’t. Tul Dulra is a Stronghold which means you need to complete the objectives in the area before it unlocks the Tul Dulra waypoint, vendors, and Underroot.

The Tul Dulra Stronghold isn’t a hard one — start it by interacting with the big tree in the middle of the area. Then, run around the area and defeat the three key enemies. Objective markers will guide your way.

Once all three key enemies are dead, return to the middle and defeat the boss. With the boss defeated, you’ll need to interact with one or two more things (just follow the objectives) to fully complete the Tul Dulra Stronghold.

Underroot becomes accessible once you’ve beat the Tul Dulra Stronghold. Be sure to get the waypoint and the side quests, and remember, you can always leave a Dungeon easily whenever you want.
