Diablo 3’s Leonard Boyarsky leaves Blizzard and joins Obsidian

Leonard Boyarsky has departed Blizzard after many years of service on Diablo 3 and taken on a new role at Obsidian

Boyarsky was the Diablo 3 lead world designer and had been at Blizzard for a decade joining the company in 2006 . Previously Boyarsky had been at Interplay working on games such as Fallout until 1998. He then went on to co-found Troika working on games such as Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura and Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines.

A post from Obsidian’s Tim Cain confirmed the arrival of Boyarsky at Obsidian. We’re not sure what he’s working on at Obsidian but it could be the recently announced Tyranny.
