Diablo 3 Beta Not Leaked

Stories were flying around earlier today that a Beta version of Diabo 3 had made its way onto the Internet. There was a flaw in the rumour though, Diablo 3 is nowhere near beta and is probably about two years away from release. After some snooping around, the apparent Beta files that had been posted were in fact just the gameplay movie. Someone obviously thought it hilarious to see if anyone was gullible enough to download the files.

This is the second Diablo 3 hoax this week after a rather sad chap posted what he claimed to be him playing a Beta version of the game. Blizzard had apparently sent him a copy because he was dying of a brain disease. The video was in fact him pretending to play the gameplay movie and then sharing how Blizzard had consulted him on fundamenal gameplay developments. Funny and sad at the same time.
