Destiny 2 Scattered Signal God Roll: Best perks and how to get it

Jam your enemy's signal!

Scattered Signal is a Season of the Wish Kinetic Strand Fusion Rifle with a Rapid-Fire Frame. It shouldn’t be slept on in either PvP or PvE, and you’ll learn why in this article detailing the Destiny 2 Scattered Signal God Roll.

How to get Scattered Signal in Destiny 2

Scattered Signal is easily obtainable via Season of the Wish Engrams. You can spend Wish Engrams and pray to the RNG gods for a God Roll or get five red border Scatter Signals and unlock the crafting potential. Scatter Signal also has the potential to drop from completing Season of the Wish activities.

Once Season of the Wish is over, Scatter Signal will be harder to acquire. That’s why I recommend at least unlocking its crafting potential now, even if you don’t necessarily want to use it now. You don’t want to regret it later.

Best Destiny 2 Scattered Signal God Roll for PvE

  • Barrel: Arrowhead Brake
  • Battery: Enhanced Battery
  • Perk 1: Slice
  • Perk 2: Controlled Burst
  • Origin Trait: Gun and Run

I have been desperately needing a good Kinetic weapon to use during Dungeon and Raid boss DPS phases and Scattered Signal definitely fits the brief. Scattered Signal has a lot of great perks which can make a lot of great rolls, but the PvE Scattered Signal has Slice and Controlled Burst and the attachments focus on stability and a bigger magazine.

Arrowhead Brake is one of if not the best PvE barrel attachment since it improves handling by 10 and recoil by 30. This is especially good for Scattered Signal since it has a harder-to-control recoil. Enhanced Battery is the best pick for battery because it gives you more ammo per magazine.

Slice is a new perk that allows your weapon to sever targets after casting your class ability. This is great for bosses and clearing out adds. If you want to go all in with Strand, Hatchling is a great pick, but if you want to make this a boss shredder, Controlled Burst is the way to go since it gives you a 20% boost to damage and a 10% decrease to charge time after landing every shot in a burst.

Best Destiny 2 Scattered Signal God Roll for PvP

  • Barrel: Extended Barrel
  • Battery: Projection Fuse
  • Perk 1: Enlightened Action
  • Perk 2: Controlled Burst
  • Origin Trait: Gun and Run

Though Fusion Rifles got nerfed in PvP, Scattered Signal can still shred. For the attachments, we’ll focus on range as that’s always the go-to to make your PvP weapons better. The perks will focus on hitting hard and fast.

Extended Barrel gives you minus 10 to handling but gives you plus 10 to range and recoil which is great for Fusion Rifles. Projection Fuse increases the range of Scattered Signal by 10 which is great for PvP.

The PvP God Roll perks for Scattered Signal are Enlightened Action because dealing damage increases reload speed and handling and Controlled Burst because, if you’re accurate at hitting enemies with every shot, you’ll deal more overall damage.
