Rapacious Appetite makes for a great God Roll in Destiny 2. It is a Kinetic Stasis SMG that has an Aggressive Frame, similar to the best gun in the game, The Immortal Strand SMG. Needless to say, you should definitely get yourself a PvP Rapacious Appetite God Roll. Without further adieu, here is the Rapacious Appetite PvP and PvE God Roll and how to get it in Destiny 2.

How to get Rapacious Appetite God Roll in Destiny 2
Rapacious Appetite is a Destiny 2 Season of the Deep weapon which means it can be acquired through Deep Engrams and rewards for completing Season of the Deep activities like Deep Dives and Salvage.
The best news is that Rapacious Appetite is craftable which means after getting five red border versions, you can create the perfect God Roll instead of relying on RNG to give you a God Roll.
Destiny 2 Rapacious Appetite God Roll for PvE
- Barrel:Â Small Bore
- Magazine: Light Mag
- Perk 1: Encore
- Perk 2: Target Lock
- Origin Trait: Unsated Hunger
Rapacious Appetite comes with Unsated Hunger (fitting, right?) which increases your handling, reload speed, and stability when no abilities are fully charged. This is an okay origin trait, one that works better in PvP than PvE, considering the best builds (like the best Void Warlock build) focuses on getting your abilities back quickler.
Small Bore is my favorite Barrel SMG PvE option because it moderately boosts range and stability. Since Rapacious Appetite has very low stability, it’s good to raise it a bit while also giving you range to deal more damage to enemies further away.
Light Mag is my recommended mag for the Rapacious Appetite PvE God Roll because it gives a slight boost to range and increases the reload speed by 10 points. Rapacious Appetite doesn’t have the fastest reload speed, so a boost to that will be appreciated, plus more range doesn’t hurt.
For perk one, Encore is a great PvE option. This perk grants stacking bonuses to stability, range, and accuracy on weapon final blows. Basically, Rapacious Appetite gets better when you get kills — awesome!
Target Lock is the best perk in the second column because it increases damage the longer you remain firing at one target. This ensures getting kills faster, which makes Rapacious Appetite a killing machine.
Destiny 2 Rapacious Appetite God Roll for PvP
- Barrel:Â Full Bore
- Magazine: Ricochet Rounds
- Perk 1: Perpetual Motion
- Perk 2: Target Lock
- Origin Trait: Unsated Hunger
Unsated Hunger is a good origin trait for the Rapacious Appetite PvP God Roll because it’s harder to get your abilities back in PvP. Because of that, you’ll proc Unsated Hunger more often and get ts passive boost to handling, reload speed, and stability.
For the Rapacious Appetite PvP God Roll, you want to max out range as much as possible. I recommend using Full Bore and Ricochet Rounds as this will grant you 20 points in range with only a negative five in handling. Range reigns supreme in PvP because you want to deal as much damage as possible as fast as possible, which makes a rapid fire SMG with high range a deadly weapon.
The only downside is that there will be a lot of recoil with Full Bore and Ricochet Rounds. If you want a little more control, go with Hammer-Forged Rifling for the Barrel as you’ll still end up with 15 points of range, but have no negative to handling and get 10 points to stability.
To create one of the best weapons in Destiny 2 PvP, you need to have Perpetual Motion and Target Lock on your Rapacious Appetite PvP God Roll. Perpetual Motion grants a stacking bonus to stability, handling, and reload speed while you’re in motion (which you will be to stay alive in PvP). Target Lock increases the damage the longer you keep firing at one target.
This combo makes for a truly unstoppable weapon. Rapacious Appetite can shred through enemies with these God Roll PvP attachments and perks.
