Fighting the Scorn

Continue along the path until you encounter the Scorn army. You’ll even catch a glimpse of the boss, the Locus of Communion.

Several mobs will attack you in the first room. These include chieftains, ravagers, and stalkers.

This, and the next room, are both Darkness zones, so try your best to survive.

In the next section, you’ll be up against two Scorn abominations with around as much health as a raid boss. I genuinely couldn’t nuke them even at 1,311 PL, and I had to play more defensively.

Anyway, try to take care of the regular mobs first (i.e., chieftains, stalkers, raiders, and ravagers). Likewise, look out for any screebs that might spawn on the platform.

After clearing the mobs, focus your DPS on one abomination (I used a sniper rifle here). When one abomination dies, it’ll spawn a complete set of adds. That means you’ll be doing some extra clean-up.

Kill the second abomination to finish the encounter.

When you’re done, marvel at a view of outer space. Oh, and you’ll see that there are platforms as well.

Hop on the platforms and make your way around the Glykon’s side until you reach the hangar. Jump above the ship and ledges to reach the doorway.
