The rumours about Destiny 2’s appearance on PC have proven accurate; Bungie’s loot-centric title will indeed be released on our platform. At the inevitable pre-order page, PC appears on the list of options. With box art and everything.
There are also enough different editions of the game, with enough different combinations of unreleased DLC and collectibles to sate even the most eager consumer of commodification. Branded tablet sleeves, solar USB chargers, the works. Oh, and the game, obviously.
Destiny 2 will be out on 8 September. However, as is often the case, a pre-order will get you early beta access. That’s presumably happening on the PC as well; it doesn’t say otherwise.
Here’s the much hyped reveal trailer: which may mean absolutely nothing to PC players (unless they played the first Destiny elsewhere), because it’s full of unfamiliar events and characters.
