Destiny 2: How to get The Bombardiers

The Bombardiers are a piece of Exotic leg armor that Hunters can add to their arsenal in Destiny 2. It’s a solid piece of armor that lets you drop a bomb whenever you use your dodge ability.

This is very handy for particularly aggressive Hunters that like to get up close and personal with enemies. And now it’s easier than ever to get this bit of Exotic kit for yourself. Here are a couple ways you can get The Bombardiers in Destiny 2.

Where to find The Bombardiers in Destiny 2

You can acquire The Bombardiers in Destiny 2 in one of two ways. The first and easiest way is to get it from Xur when he appears during the weekend. Now this is dependant on whether he has The Bombardiers for sale. This weekend (10/20/23 to 10/23/23) Xur has The Bombardiers in stock. So if you head over to him now before the weekly reset you can grab this armor piece for 23 Legendary Shards.

In the event that Xur is no longer an option for you, don’t worry because you still have a way to get The Bombardiers for yourself in Destiny 2. The other way is to simply acquire Exotic Engrams from activities and open them up with Rahool at the Tower. You’ll have a small chance of finding The Bombardiers this way with every Exotic Engram you find. But it can take a while if you’ve got bad luck, so be prepared to grind.

The best way to farm Exotic Engrams

When trying to get Exotic Engrams there are a few ways to go about it. The usual way is just by playing any activity as Exotics have a very small chance of dropping from enemies and chests at the end of Strikes and other PvE activities. You can also get an Exotic as a reward for playing Crucible matches. So just by playing Destiny 2 a lot you up your chances of getting an Exotic. This method might not get you The Bombardiers in Destiny 2 for a little while though.

A more guaranteed method is by completing Weekly Ritual Challenges. By participating in certain Crucible game modes, Vanguard Strikes/Nightfalls, or Gambit Matches, you’ll progress in completing the Weekly Ritual Challenge. Completing these rewards you with an Exotic Engram. You can get up to three Exotics with this method and get a much better chance to fill out your Collection too. So if you’re after The Bombardiers in Destiny 2 this will be your best bet to acquiring it.
