Destiny 2: Atlas Skew locations (Week 1) — Tracing the Stars I

Searching for Techeuns.

“Tracing the Stars” is a quest chain that you’ll receive in Destiny 2: Season of the Lost after completing your first Astral Alignment activity. It entails looking for objects that can triangulate the location of a Techeun, a Tech Witch lieutenant of Mara Sov. You’ll need to locate five of these to finish the objective. Here’s our Destiny 2: Season of the Lost guide to help you find the week 1 Atlas Skew locations for “Tracing the Stars I.”

Destiny 2: Season of the Lost – Tracing the Stars I and Atlas Skew locations for Week 1

The Atlas Skew locations for week 1 of Destiny 2: Season of the Lost are in the Divalian Mists and Spine of Keres zones. You’ll see a diamond-shaped icon once you get fairly close to where they are.

Drowned Bay Alcove

Simply head inside the Bay of Drowned Wishes lost sector while patrolling (no need to start a legendary activity). Keep to the right and you’ll see it as the path slopes upward.

Spine Oracle Orrery

Make your way to the Spine of Keres. Specifically, you’ll want to head inside the large building where you often presented offerings to commune with Mara Sov. The Atlas Skew is at the top of the stairwell.

Distant Spine Island Tree

Exit the orrery building and loop around while following the pathway and bridges. You’ll eventually see small outcroppings of land. This spot is actually the area where you spawned at when you first arrived at the Dreaming City during Forsaken‘s campaign.

A Hollow Coronation and the Caliburn Gatehouse

When you’re done, open the director and click on the HELM. You’ll see an icon for a mission called “A Hollow Coronation.” Click on it and you’ll spawn in front of the gateway.

Pass through to arrive at the Caliburn Gatehouse. Interact with the leftmost device to complete the task. Since there are four devices here, it looks like we’ll be searching for Atlas Skews for the next few weeks.

The Vulpecula

Finally, return to the HELM and interact with the Wayfinder’s Compass to receive the Vulpecula hand cannon. It’s got the Stasis element, as well as the “Shoot to Loot” and “Harmony” perks.

This completes Destiny 2: Season of the Lost‘s “Tracing the Stars I” quest. Don’t forget to do the Shattered Realm mission, too, for new Wayfinder’s Compass upgrades.
