Week 2 boss fight: Kruutiks, Reefbane

Recommended Videos

Your enemy during the second week of the Astral Alignment in Destiny 2: Season of the Lost is called Kruutiks, Reefbane.

This fella is a larger variant of the Raider, and it’s got a few tricks up its many sleeves. Firstly, you’ll notice that whenever you do see it pop up, it’ll fragment into smaller pieces. That’s because these are only decoys.

You’ll need to take out all the decoys to reveal the true Kruutiks. When the real boss has been revealed, you’ll have a few seconds to damage it until it summons its decoys again.

Periodically, you’ll also see some dead Servitors appear. Ether will slowly float out of them going to Kruutiks, which causes it to regenerate HP. You’re often notified when this happens, so make sure you shoot the ether orbs quickly.

Also, there will be lots of mobs that will spawn, including Overload Chieftains and Unstoppable Abominations. Anyway, keep at it and you should be able to eliminate Kruutiks without a hitch.
