Visceral Games wants to put something wet and slimy in your pre-Christmas stocking, as the team has just announced that a Dead Space 2 demo will be available for Xbox 360 and PS3 from 21 December.
PlayStation owners in Europe will have to wait a day longer for it to appear on PSN, and it seems PC users will miss out completely. The press release doesn’t specifically rule out a PC demo, but it doesn’t fall over itself to mention one either.
Those who do get to play the demo will experience the Church of Unitology “an expectedly “safe” place that quickly becomes dangerous and deadly.” You’ll also get to play with new toys, like the Javelin gun and a jet-enhanced suit that allows Isaac 360 degree control in zero-gravity situations.
The full release of Dead Space 2 is scheduled for 28 January on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
