In a change to the previously advertised February release date, Dead or Alive 5 Last Round will now be appearing on PC in late March. Tecmo Koei vaguely explain this delay on the Steam store page, under the heading “Change to Release Date.”
The statement reads: “In order to provide you with the best experience possible, the expected release date for Dead or Alive 5 Last Round on Steam has been changed from Feb. 17 to March 30.”
In order to sweeten this blow a little bit, anybody who buys Last Round on Steam will get 28 fighter costumes from the 2013 Halloween Set DLC package as a freebie bonus.
There doesn’t seem to be any change to the somewhat bizarre decision to delay the multiplayer functionality of Dead or Alive 5’s PC version until some time after launch. The online modes will still be added “within 3 months of release.”
