If you’re lucky enough to play the game early, you should have a good idea of how it performs. Dead Island 2 is a beefy game, and all the specs reflect that including the recommended tier.
Note that on recommended you’ll be able to play Dead Island at 60 frames per second, with a 1080P resolution.

Dead Island 2 on console
If you’re concerned about how the game will run on consoles, developers have shared that the PlayStation and Xbox Series X will be at 60 fps. For other older consoles like the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, the game will be capped at 30 fps.
Sadly, Dead Island 2 won’t feature cross-platform between two different platforms. Meaning PC players won’t be able to play with console users. However, the game does feature cross-generation crossplay. So you’ll be able to play with your friends from Xbox One to Xbox Series X and PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5.
