Dead Island 2 Haus: How to find the Ark

The main questline in Haus is split up into two major acts — the first act plays out through The Invitation quest and is fairly straightforward. But the second half of the DLC is dependent on a couple of things.

How to find the Ark of Ascension in Dead Island 2

The Ark of Ascension is the second main quest of the Haus DLC in Dead Island 2. But you’ll only get it if you’ve met certain requirements in the base game. If you’ve already beaten the game, then this won’t apply to you so you can skip down to the solution below. But if you’re playing Haus alongside the main game, here’s what you need to know. After completing The Invitation, you’ll need to continue the base game’s story until you reach The Giant Slayer quest. Once you reach this point, you’ll be able to continue Haus.

Finding the Ark

Our next problem is that Dead Island 2 doesn’t tell you where the Ark is. There is no quest marker for this for whatever reason, which makes finding the Ark a bit of a headscratcher. Luckily, the answer isn’t very complex at all. When you return to the Malibu estate in Haus, head back to the main hall where Vincent and Veronique are still sitting. Then you need to head back into the room where you met Konstantin for the first time.

Once you’re in this room, you should see a set of black double doors at the back of the room. These were locked before, but now you can open them up. Simply walk through these and head through the following areas to find the Ark. It’s a linear path from this point onwards, so don’t worry about potentially getting lost anywhere here. And eventually, you’ll unlock the next quest step and be even closer to finishing Haus in Dead Island 2.
