Bloody tears

There are 20 outfits to find in the Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania DLC, and the Simon and Dracula outfits are among these. To get one, you’ll need to get through most of the DLC. Getting the other is a taller order. This guide will break down how to get both of them as well as give you a sneak peak at what each of them looks like. Having all of these new skins is absolutely a treat for Castlevania fans. Some of them are just handed to you, so even if you’ve got to practice or farm to unlock some, you’ll still have others at your disposal. Read on to find out how to unlock both Simon and Dracula outfits in Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania.

How to unlock the Simon outfit

First, the easier one. Getting the Simon outfit in Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania is mostly easy, but it does take a bit of time. You need to get to the second Dracula’s Castle biome before you can grab this, so it won’t be attainable on your first run. When in that second biome, take a look around until you find the lore room in the below picture. Do note that I didn’t see this room on my first run through the castle, so whether it shows might be random. Interact with it and the game will tell you the blueprint has been unlocked.

Again, I don’t know if the blueprint unlocks have a chance of showing up upon doing these things or if it’s at the same time for everybody. Simon’s outfit is a skin that gives you a red outfit and blond hair. The Dracula outfit doesn’t let you play as a tiny Dracula, but instead gives the main character a literal outfit. It’s more than a palette swap and looks pretty rad. Let’s take a look at both:
